Two men riding in a car pulled over by a Ceres Police officer on Sunday were arrested on warrants.

At 4:01 p.m., Officer Krandall Vandagriff was patrolling the area of Hatch Road and Payne Avenue when he stopped a red-colored Chevrolet Cavalier for vehicle code violations. When he performed a records check on driver Allen Barrett, 35, and passenger Matthew Hobart, 40, he learned both had felony warrants for their arrest.

Hobart and Barrett were booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
