A Feb. 21 traffic stop on a stolen vehicle resulted in the arrest of two of its three occupants.

Officer Jesus Salinas pulled over the car at 8:51 a.m. on Hatch Road near Stonum Road and a records check alerted him to the car having been reported stolen in Nevada.

Driver Judy Watkins, 34, Modesto, was booked for vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, giving police a false identification and for a felony warrant from the Modesto Police Department. Passenger Toni Blanusa, 32, of Modesto was booked for vehicle theft, possession of stolen property and for a misdemeanor warrant from the Modesto Police Department.

Both women were transported to the Public Safety Center and booked. The third woman was released.
