A security check on Mancini Park south of River Road Thursday evening, Dec. 14 resulted in the arrest of a woman for three arrest warrants.

Ceres Police Officer Matt Berlier patrolled the park at approximately 10:23 p.m. when he spotted a Toyota car parked in the parking lot. Since the park was closed, he decided to contact the occupants. He learned that passenger Denise Ornelas, 32, of Modesto, had the warrants so she was arrested and booked at the Public Safety Center.
