A Ceres teenager was arrested Thursday morning for a felony arrest warrant thanks to an alert school resource officer who suspected he may be up to no good.

At 11:38 a.m. School Resource Officer Brian Petersen contacted occupants of two suspicious vehicles seen passing by Argus High School several times prior to school letting out for lunch. Aware of a fight that had occurred on campus earlier in the week involving non-students, Officer Petersen stopped the occupants of both vehicles. He learned that one of them, Yosymar Bonilla, 19, of Ceres, had an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest. Bonilla was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
