A traffic stop on a Chevy Impala in the 1300 block of Pecos Avenue resulted in the arrest of its driver for warrants on Tuesday morning, June 11.

At 10:02 a.m. Officer Christian Izquierdo pulled over  Eric Smither, 48, of Modesto, and found him to have an outstanding felony arrest warrant for possession of stolen property, destruction of evidence and possession of a controlled substance.

He was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
