Julio Villareal, 46, of Newman, was arrested in Ceres last week when an officer stopped him on Service Road near Farm Supply Drive for expired vehicle registration and discovered that he had a warrant for his arrest for traffic related offenses in Merced County.

Officer Jesus Salinas conducted a traffic stop at 6:49 p.m. on Thursday and arrested him.
