Juan Bautista, 39, of Modesto, was arrested for resisting or obstructing a police officer, warrants and probation violation after he tried to outrun a police officer on Saturday afternoon.

Officer Justin Canatsy attempted to contact Bautista at Pearson and Hatch Road but the suspect took off running. After a short foot pursuit, Bautista was arrested in the driveway in the 600 block of E. Hatch Road.
Bautista was on probation.
