Shree Serna, 29, of Ceres, was arrested Saturday afternoon after she was detained at the Ceres Walmart store for shoplifting $12.38 worth of merchandise. Police quickly learned that she also had two warrants issued by Modesto Police, one for a misdemeanor and the other for a felony.

The store reported the attempted theft at 3:16 p.m.
