Ceres police don't have much to go on in an effort to find the woman who repeatedly struck another woman with beer bottles during a July 30 fight at Family Pizza, 2929 Whitmore Avenue.

The victim had been struck up to 15 times with bottles and glass containers and had blood oozing from wounds on her head, police found in responding to the 2 a.m. call. The woman didn't know the identity of the woman for whom she got involved in an argument before the fight grew physical.

The alleged suspect fled the scene before police arrived. The victim was taken to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto for treatment of injuries.

The suspect, if she is located and arrested, faces possible charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
