Police are investigating a large fight that broke out at Rico’s Pizza on Hatch Road Saturday evening in which a woman was injured.

Details about the incident are sketchy. Ceres Police Department spokesman Sgt. Greg Yotsuya said police were called at 8 p.m. and when officers arrived there were several people in front of the business still arguing. They scattered when officers arrived. A woman inside the restaurant sustained a laceration to the head which she said was caused when someone struck her with a chair.
