Beaver school’s Isabella Hernandez honored as 'Student of the Month'

“Rotary Student of the Month” Isabella Hernandez received her plaque and honors in the presence of grandmother Debby Steelman, mother Allison Hernandez, Principal Libby Callahan, teacher Liz Pannell, and Rotary Club President Paul Rutishauser.

Patricia Kay Beaver Leadership Magnet School eighth-grader Isabella Hernandez was recognized Friday as a Rotary Student of the Month. 

Isabella was cited by school leaders an outstanding student who exemplifies dedication, kindness and leadership in everything she does.

She is a hard worker who approaches tasks with focus and determination, always aiming to do her very best.

She is an active leader on campus and a positive role model for her peers, enthusiastically participating in school activities. She volunteers her time to help others, and consistently demonstrates empathy and respect. Isabella’s friendly nature and proactive attitude make her someone others naturally look up to and enjoy being around.

Principal Libby Callahan said Isabella truly represents what it means to be a leader as she is responsible, compassionate, and always willing to step up and make a difference.
