With one slot needing to be filled, the new Stanislaus County Civil Grand Jury was selected last week.Judge David Hood presided over the selection of the 2026–2027 Civil Grand Jury. The jury’s term runs from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.

Its work results in written reports containing findings and recommendations designed to identify issues, improve government operations, and enhance accountability to the public.
