Robert Lee Correll, 41, of Ceres was sentenced recently to 10 years for possession of child pornography.

Correll, who had previously been of the same charge in Tuolumne County in September, 2002, was arrested in August following a two-month investigation involving Ceres Police detectives, working as members of the Sacramento Valley Hi-Tech Crimes Task Force. To date, investigators have indicated that Correll had in his possession in excess of 10,000 images of child pornography and in-excess of 5,000 video clips of child pornography.

Correll plead guilty on Sept. 22, and was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. O'Neill to a sentence of 120 months in federal prison.
