The Ceres School Board recently recognized Ceres Unified School District’s Classified and Confidential Employees of the Year.

The following classified employees were site/department winners:

Nancy Lopez - Student Supervision Assistant and Rec Leader at Adkison Elementary School;

Ofelia Madrigal – a paraprofessional at Patricia K. Beaver Leadership Magnet School;

Maira Cortes Lopez - Community Liaison with Student Services;

Karie Dias - School/staff secretary with CUSD’s Transportation Department;

Julia Flores - Paraprofessional with Special Education;

Randon Jones, the office manager at Ceres High School was recognized as CUSD’s “Confidential Employee of the Year.”

The board also recognized the nominees at the recent “Employees Making a Difference” program of the Stanislaus County Office of Education.

They were:

  • Esther Baez, an instructional paraprofessional II at Caswell Dual Language Academy;
  • Becky Hudson, the Blaker Kinser Jr. High School office manager;
  • Kelli Partlow, a Ceres High School youth advisor.
