• Banda Renovación also signs
Jefferson Starship
Jefferson Starship has been signed up to play at the Stanislaus County Fair in Turlock on Tuesday, July 16. The current lineup includes original member David Freiberg, longtime drummer Donny Baldwin, keyboardist Chris Smith, guitarist Jude Gold, and lead vocalist/guitarist Cathy Richardson.

The legendary rock band Jefferson Starship will headline the Stanislaus County Fair on Tuesday, July 16.

With timeless anthems like “Jane,” “Miracles,” and “Find Your Way Back,” Jefferson Starship continues to captivate audiences with high-energy performances that bridge generations. Their dynamic set list spans all eras of the Jefferson legacy — from Jefferson Airplane’s “Somebody to Love” to Starship’s chart-topping hit “We Built This City.”

“We’re incredibly excited to welcome such an iconic band to the fair this year,” said Jose Piña, spokesperson for the Fair. “Jefferson Starship’s music has stood the test of time, and this performance promises to be a highlight of the summer.”

One of the most successful arena rock bands of the ‘70s and ‘80s, Jefferson Starship has earned three platinum and eight gold records, along with numerous Top 40 Billboard singles. In 2025, the band celebrates 50 years of music and touring, a feat achieved by only a handful of acts in rock history.

Founded in the 1970s, Jefferson Starship emerged as a collective of musical pioneers, contributing to a catalog of rock classics. The current lineup came together in 2012, with several members having joined much earlier.

Their current lineup includes original member David Freiberg, longtime drummer Donny Baldwin (joined in 1982), keyboardist Chris Smith (since 1998), guitarist Jude Gold (since 2012), and lead vocalist/guitarist Cathy Richardson (joined in 2008).

As they celebrate their 50th anniversary, Jefferson Starship honors the legacy of Paul Kantner, who died in 2016.

Locash will take the stage on Friday, July 19.

With hits like “I Love This Life,” “One Big Country Song,” and “I Know Somebody,” LOCASH’s Preston Brust and Chris Lucas promise to bring high energy and feel-good vibes for an unforgettable night for country fans and fairgoers alike in Turlock.

“LOCASH’s dynamic performances and fan-favorite hits make them a perfect addition to this year’s concert lineup,” said Piña. “We’re committed to bringing exceptional live music experiences to fairgoers year after year.”

With fresh music expected to release in spring, this new era follows back-to-back high-profile collaborations “Let It Slide” and “Beach Boys” (feat. The Beach Boys’ Mike Love and Bruce Johnston). Known for PLATINUM breakout “I Love This Life” and GOLD#1’s “One Big Country Song” and “I Know Somebody,” LOCASH have earned eight charting singles, two successful albums, and over a billion global streams, and hold a history of nods from the genre’s biggest awards shows since launching in 2015.

Announcing their 2024 partnership with 44 Farms, LOCASH will headline their own HOMETOWN HOMETOUR, plus join Kane Brown’s stadium-filling IN THE AIR TOUR this summer.
