Stanislaus Animal Services Agency (SASA) is hosting a special St. Patrick’s Day theme adoption event.

In the spirit of Irish luck and charm, SASA presents the “Change Their Luck $7.77 Dog and Cat Adoption Special” until Sunday, March 17.

The shelter is bursting at the seams with 260 dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds which can be adopted for $7.77, with each adoption including vaccinations, microchipping and spaying/neutering.

“We’re excited to offer this unique opportunity to our community,” said Vaughn Maurice, SASA’s executive director. “Our goal is to find loving homes for these 260 wonderful dogs and make room for more animals in need. It’s a win-win for both our community and the pets looking for forever families.”

The shelter, located at 3647 Cornucopia Way, Modesto, is now open Sundays from 12 noon to 4 p.m.
