A Mass was held Friday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Modesto for Alvera A. Silva Santos, 90, of Turlock. She died March 6, 2005 at Hale Aloha Convalescent Hospital in Ceres.
Burial was at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.
Born Sept. 23, 1914, Mrs. Santos was a native of Hayward and lived in Turlock for eight years. She was a homemaker and a member of SPRSI and St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
She leaves behind her son, Bob Santos of Turlock; her sister, Marie Cardoza of Modesto; and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Santos; and son Louis Santos.
