Annis Martha Baker

June 1, 1927 – Feb. 28, 2013

Annis Martha Baker, 85, of Ceres, passed away at age 58 with her family at her side.
Viewing was held Tuesday from 4-8 pm, and a graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. today, March 6, at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Annis was born at home in Springdale, Arkansas, the first child born to Lee and Margie Sizemore. Annis was married to Clarence Baker whom she dearly loved. They met when she was 9 years old and he was 12. They dated when she was 16 and he was 20. Clarence went in to the service while they were dating and they never saw each other again until both spouses had passed away. They found each other again and had been married 20 years.
Annis loved to can fruits and vegetables from her trees and garden. She liked to bake pies that will be missed by those who knew her because no one baked like her. She loved everyone and never met a stranger. Annis was a member of Village Chapel Church of Ceres.
Annis is survived by her three children, Larry Meeks, Regina Fiori and Tina Duncan; her stepchildren, Gordon Baker, Johnny Baker, Terry Baker, Gary Baker, Judy Foulk, Veda Lahn, Doris George and Brenda Freeman; five sisters; three brothers; and eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, 19 step-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She will be remembered always.
