A Mass was held at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Ceres for Candido Albor, 67, of Modesto. He died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005 at his home.

Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park under the direction of Lakewood Funeral Home.

Born Feb. 1, 1938, Mr. Albor was a native of La Lobera, Michoacn, Mexico, and lived in Modesto for 43 years. He was a forklift operator.

He leaves behind his wife, Maria Albor of Modesto; seven children, Esequiel Albor, Esmeralda Gomez, Ernestina Calderon and Maria L. Calderon, all of Modesto, Alma Ortiz of Turlock, Heriberto Calderon of Keyes and Carmen Ortiz of Texas; his brother, Hilaro Hernandez of Tijuana, Mexico; his sister, Amelia Albor of Calistoga; and 32 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Guadalupe Albor.
