A funeral service was held Saturday at Allen Mortuary for Charles Wade Scott, 42, of Ceres. He died unexpectedly on Jan. 14, 2011.
Born May 1968 in Modesto to James and Safronia Scott, Charles grew up in Modesto. He graduated from Davis High School in 1986. After a short stint in the Navy, Chuck married Michelle Marckese. Mr. Scott worked as a masonry worker, a warehouseman, and the past five years as a truck driver. He was known for his fun-loving practical jokes, and telling stories to friends.
He leaves behind his wife, Michelle Scott of Ceres; his daughters, Megan Renee and Brittany Nicole Scott, both of Ceres; his brother, James Scott of Modesto; and twin sisters, Brenda and Linda. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Melody.
