A funeral was held Feb. 22 at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel for Colleen Lucille Dildine Westerman, 75, of Modesto. She died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005 at Doctors Medical Center.

Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Born July 11, 1929, Mrs. Westerman was a native of Kearney, Neb., and had lived in Modesto since 1951. She owned Tillie's Hallmark for 12 years and If The Shoe Fits, both in Oakdale. Mrs. Westerman was also a cattle rancher. She was treasurer and a board member of Ladies Aid for Retarded Citizens. Mrs. Westerman was a member of the United Methodist Church in Ceres and the Oakdale Soroptomists. She was a volunteer at the Modesto Union Gospel Mission.

Mrs. Westerman leaves behind her son, John Westerman of Modesto; her brother, Harold Dildine of Eugene, Ore.; her sister, Phyllis Ratzlaff of Arnold; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Westerman.
