Graveside services were held Friday for Dale Clinton Doty Sr., 69, of the Westport area. He died Jan. 24, 2008.
Burial was at Ceres Memorial Park.
Born Oct. 29, 1938, Mr. Doty was a native of Hutchison, Kan., and lived in the Westport area of Ceres since 1941. He served in the Army for 14 years, including two tours in Vietnam. Mr. Coty suffered with health problems before his death.
He leaves behind his son, Dale Doty Jr. of Ceres; two brothers, Gary Doty of Modesto, Marvin Doty of Arizona; his sisters, Sharon Cooksey and Mary Keener, both of Ceres, Marlene Saleh of Michigan and Diane Doty of Modesto; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son Gene Wayne Doty.
