A funeral was held Friday afternoon at Allen Mortuary in Turlock for Dorothy Marie Leonhardt Blaker, 89, of Turlock. She died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005 at Emanuel Medical Center.
Burial was at Turlock Memorial Park.
Born Aug. 12, 1915, Mrs. Blaker was a native of Ceres and lived in Turlock since 1957. She had co-owned Turlock Concrete since 1943. Mrs. Blaker was a member of United Methodist Church, Tuesday Reading Club, PEO Chapter and Self Improvement Study Group. She had been active in the Modesto and Bay Area Horseless Carriage Club since 1957.
Mrs. Blaker leaves behind her husband, Jess Blaker of Turlock; two children, Elizabeth Hutchison of Twain Harte and Ann Harren of Mi-Wuk Village; and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister.
Remembrances may be sent to a favorite charity.
