A graveside service was held Tuesday at Ceres Memorial Park for George Owen Adomyetz, 70, of Ceres. He died Friday, April 29, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Born April 11, 1935, Mr. Adomyetz was a native of Florence, Ala., and lived in Modesto and Ceres since 1957. He worked in a warehouse for Christian Salvensen for 20 years. Mr. was an Air Force veteran, having served from 1953 to 1965 and having tours of duty in Korea and Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Mr. Adomyetz leaves behind his wife, Sue Adomyetz of Ceres; two children, Pamela Walker of Ceres and Allen Adomyetz of Waterford; two sisters, Betty Adomyetz and Mary Woods, both of West Memphis, Ark.; and two grandchildren.
