Private inurnment was held at Ceres Memorial Park for Gerald "Jerry" Eugene Reynolds Sr., 65, of Ceres. He died July 27, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.

Cunningham's Affordable Burial and Cremation Center was in charge of arrangements.

Born June 1, 1940, Mr. Reynolds was a native of San Jose and lived in Ceres less than a year. He previously lived in Modesto 18 years and Hayward 45 years. Mr. Reynolds owned and operated a tow truck business for 42 years. He enjoyed drag racing, NASCAR and his dog.

He leaves behind his ex-wife, Sandra Reynolds of Ceres; five children, Debbie Reynolds of Patterson, Jaime Reynolds of Redding, Gerald "Jerry" Jr. Reynolds of San Jose, Crystal Reynolds of Orland and Scott Reynolds of Fresno; three brothers, Bobby Reynolds of Vernalis, and Raymond Reynolds and Ricky Reynolds, both of San Leandro; three sisters, Jackie Madison of Centralia, Wash., Betty Moser of Palmdale and Trilby Nunes of Hayward; and 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Trilby Pearl White and Richard Jack Reynolds; and three brothers.
