Gordon M. Roudebush

A graveside and memorial service will be at 3 p.m. today at Acacia Memorial Park in Modesto for Gordon M. Roudebush, 62, of Ceres. He died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004 at at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Palo Alto.

Bay Area Cremation and Funeral Service of Redwood City is in charge of arrangements.

Born Sept. 3, 1941, Mr. Roudebush was a native of Indiana and lived in Ceres for four years. He previously lived in Modesto for five years. Mr. Roudebush was a major in the Indiana National Guard, where he served for 24 years with the HHB 38th Infantry Division. He graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor's degree in agricultural science. Mr. Roudebush enjoyed bird watching and reading.

He leaves behind his wife, Katherine Hoard Roudebush of Ceres; two children Carey Roudebush and Randy Roudebush, both of Indiana; his stepdaughter, Kristina Hacker of Turlock; his brother, Bill Roudebush of Indianapolis; two sisters, Ann Treesh of Winter Haven, Fla., and Eleanor Eller of Arcadia, Ind.; and four grandchildren.
