A Celebration of Life was held Friday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Grace Jeanette Berdino, 89, of Ceres. She died May 12, 2011 at Kaiser Hospital in Manteca.
Born on Oct. 11, 1921 in Sioux Falls, S.D., Grace married Victor "Vic" Berdino in 1970 and enjoyed a marriage of 41 years. She worked as an executive assistant at Northrop Nortronics, as well as several real estate offices. Mrs. Berdino enjoyed traveling, eating out, dancing and bowling.
She leaves behind her husband, Victor Berdino of Ceres; her son, Ted "Teddi" O'Buzz of Sioux Falls, S.D.; her sister, Donna Jarman of Albuquerque, N.M.; her step-son, John Berdino of Turlock; her grandchildren, Gregg Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Simon Berdino, Emma Berdino, Hudson Berdino and James Berdino; and five great-grandchildren, Courtney Johnson, Layne Johnson, Logan Johnson, Dalton Johnson and Dillion Johnson. She was preceded in death by daughters Sandy Sanchatina and Georgia Johnson, sister, Nyla Blankenship and brothers Glen and Boyd Knudtson.
