Private inurnment was at Ceres Memorial Park for Joe Wayne Duncan, 68, of Modesto. He died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005 at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.
Cunningham's Affordable Burial & Cremation Center was in charge of arrangements.
Born Aug. 12, 1936, Mr. Duncan was a native of Pontotoc County, Okla., and lived in Modesto for 67 years. He was a bin worker and supervisor at Del Monte Foods n Hughson. Mr. Duncan was a 1955 graduate of Modesto High School. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and movies, and he liked country and western music, especially Johnny Cash. He attended Calvary Temple.
He leaves behind his wife, Letha Duncan of Modesto; two children, Kimberlee Tacy and Lezlie Rivera, both of Modesto; her brother, Billie Duncan of Modesto; her sister, Wanda Davis of El Monte; and two grandchildren.
