A funeral service was held Friday at Eaton Family Mortuary in Modesto, for Joseph David Garcia, 33, of Modesto. He died March 27, 2011 at his home.
Born Nov. 7, 1977, Joseph was a resident of Modesto most of his adult life. He lived at the Penot House in Modesto and attended John F. Kennedy School in Ceres and graduated high school and went onto Howard Training Center, also in Ceres. Joseph always had a smile and was loved by many people who met him.
He leaves behind his parents, Edward and Gina Garcia of Modesto; his siblings, Yvonne Garcia of Los Angeles, and Rachel Garcia and Robert Garcia, both of Modesto; his grandparents, Esther Zuniga and Frank and Rose Garcia, all of Modesto. He was preceded in death by grandfather Joel H. Zuniga.
