Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements for Juan "Johnny" Silvestre Navalles, 64, of Ceres. He died Saturday, June 11, 2005 in Patterson.
Born Dec. 31, 1940, Mr. Navalles was a native of Sonora, Mexico, and lived in Ceres since 1969. He was a machine operator for Tri Valley Growers for 24 years. Mr. Navalles was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church and the Stanislaus County Bicycle Club.
He leaves behind his companion, Mildred Smith of Ceres; two children, Sylvia Isabel Anne Moulyn and Freddie W. Navalles, both of Modesto; his brother, Jose M. Navalles of Mexico; two sisters, Norma A. Ballastro of Arizona and Norma Ruiz of Mexico; and two grandchildren.
