A memorial service was held Wednesday at the Eagles Lodge in Modesto for Kimberly Gayle Johnson Whatley, 43, of Ceres. She died March 12 , 2005 at her home.
Cunningham's Affordable Burial & Cremation Centers of Modesto, was in charge of arrangements.
Born May 12, 1961, Mrs. Whatley was a native of Stockton and lived in Ceres for 20 years and Stockton for 23 years. Mrs. Whatley was a homemaker who enjoyed plants, the ocean and dogs.
She leaves behind her husband, Mark Whatley of Ceres; three children, Gina Johns of San Jose, Jamie Johns of Modesto and Heather Johns of Barstow; her great-grandmother, Dorris Wall Hayes of Vacaville; her brother, John Johnson of Modesto; two sisters, Kathy Hayes of Spokane, Wash., and Johnette Mass of Alamo; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John O. and Dianne Wall Johnson.
