A funeral was held Friday afternoon at Northridge Assembly of God in Ceres for Larry Dean Mitchell, 57, of Ceres. He died Monday, Aug. 29, 2005 at the University of California Medical Center in San Francisco.
Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park under the direction of Allen Mortuary.
Born April 21, 1948, Mr. Mitchell was a native of Modesto and lifelong resident of the Modesto and Ceres area. He was a 1966 graduate of Modesto High School. Mr. Mitchell was in the moving business. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. Mr. Mitchell was a member of Northridge Assembly of God in Ceres.
He leaves behind his wife, Jane Mitchell of Ceres; three children, Marty Mitchell, Lisa Mitchell and Matthew Mitchell, all of Modesto; her brother, Wayne Mitchell of Arizona; her sister, Janis Lancaster of Modesto; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
