Cunningham's Affordable Burial Cremation is in charge of arrangements for Lois "Jerie" Dupere, 80, of Hughson. She died July 21, 2012.
Born Aug. 20, 1931, Jerie enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader. She loved cats, decorating her home at Christmas and crafting. Mrs. Dupere was an excellent seamstress and knitter with her specialty in making Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls and knitting blankets for her grandchildren and friends.
She leaves behind her husband of 46 years, Fred Dupere of Hughson; five children, Linda Styles, Don Johnson, Chris Johnson, Ruth Jaegar and Michael Johnson; her brother, Ken Pierce; her sister, Ruby Getty; three stepchildren, Diana Reyes, Robert Dupere and Kathy Dupere; and 28 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son John Johnson.
