A graveside service was held at Lakewood Memorial Park for Lottie Faye Tipton Walker, 74, of Ceres. She died Feb. 16, 2005 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.

The Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs was in charge of arrangements.

Born Jan. 9, 1931, Mrs. Walker was a native of Stuart, Okla., and lived in Ceres for 35 years. She was a homemaker and member of the Ceres Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10293.

She leaves behind her husband, Hershell W. Walker of Ceres; three children, Dr. Phillip Walker of Bakersfield, Pamela Hampton of Arnold and Paula Walker of Modesto; three brothers, Sherman Tipton of Wichita Falls, Texas, Wendell Tipton of Cambria and Charles Tipton of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Nadine Warrick of Herford, Texas, and Imagene Walker of Marina; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother Clifton Tipton.
