The rosary was held Friday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Hughson for Lucille Ellen Chappelle, 80, of Ceres. She died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
A funeral was Saturday at Lakewood Funeral Home. Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Born Dec. 11, 1924, Mrs. Chappelle was a native of Ceres, where she lived for 77 years. Mrs. Chappelle was a longtime employee of Campbell Soup Co.
She leaves behind two children, Kenn Chappelle of Pomona and Diane Roach of Carmichael; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Chappelle.
