A Rosary was held Monday at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel in Modesto for Milo Cruz Solarez, 55, of Ceres. He died July 31, 2008 at his home.
A Mass was held Tuesday at St. Jude's Cahtolic Church in Ceres.
Burial was at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Modesto.
Born May 3, 1953, Mr. Solarez enjoyed fishing, listening to music, and spending time with his nieces, nephews and family.
He leaves behind three brothers, David Solarez of Blythe, Albert Solarez of Cathedral City, and Gabriel Carter of Blythe; four sisters, Victoria Mendoza of Pixley, Rachel Luna of Modesto, and Michelle Martinez and Monica Urrea, both of Ceres; his step-father, Margarito Urrea of Modesto; and nine nieces and eight nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Casimiro Solarez and Leonore Urrea, and sister Carolina Solarez.
