A funeral service was held Saturday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Nina Violet Ham, 96, of Ceres. She died Aug. 2, 2010 at at Hale Aloha Convalescent Care Home in Ceres.
Born Oct. 16, 1913 in Goodlett, Texas, to Henry and Wilma Scott, Nina was the oldest of four sisters and three brothers. On August 23, 1937, she married Fred Warren Ham. They were married for 63 years.
She leaves behind her three children, Alton Ham, Rosa Myatt, and Violet Ham; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Fred and her sisters and brothers.
