A funeral services was held Thursday at the McHenry Chapel of Franklin & Downs for Ray Calvin Aycock, 81, of Ceres. He died Jan. 10, 2010 with many family members at his side.

Born March 4, 1928, Ray worked at the Tracy Defense Depot for 31 years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening, and watching his sons and grandchildren and great-grandhchildren play sports.

He leaves behind three children, Diana Allen of Modesto, Harold Aycock of Modesto and Terry Aycock of Ceres; his sister, Eulamae Diekel of Texas; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Bonnie Aycock.
