A memorial service was held Saturday at Ceres Seventh-day Adventist Church for Rose Ulibarri Florez, 69, of Patterson. She died Feb. 13, 2005 at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz.
Private inurnment was at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Born Feb. 24, 1935, Mrs. Florez was a native of Albuquerque, N.M., and lived in Patterson for 20 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Ceres Central Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She leaves behind five children, Peter Florez of Greenbrae, Cherrie Chock of Livermore, Karen Pangelina of Dublin and Alex Florez and Jess Florez, both of Patterson; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Rafaelita Ulibarri; three brothers; and one sister.
