A funeral was held Saturday at Allen Mortuary in Turlock for Steven Glen Brown, 45, of Ceres. He died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005 at his home. Burial was at Ceres Memorial Park.
Allen Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
Born Aug. 23, 1959, Mr. Brown was a native of Patterson and a lifelong resident of Ceres. He worked at Bronco Winery in rural Ceres for five years and previously was a self-employed artist for 20 years. Mr. Brown was a graduate of Ceres High School, and enjoyed the Sacramento Kings. He served in the Navy from 1978-80.
He leaves behind his wife, Katherine Brown of Ceres; three children, Steven Brown, Justin Brown, and Megan Brown, all of Ceres; his parents, Charles and Joyce Brown of Ceres; his brother, Charles Brown Jr. of Keyes; two sisters, Sharon Rash of Sacramento and Dianna McGill of Hughson; and his grandfather, Grand Walker of Ceres.
