A funeral service was held Monday at Lakewood Funeral Home forVirgie L. Bucher, 91, of Ceres. She died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005 at her home. Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Born Nov. 30, 1913, Mrs. Bucher was a native of Bledland, Mo., and lived in Ceres since 1951. She was a homemaker and a member and a past worthy matron of Ceres Chapter 296, Order of the Eastern Star.
She leaves behind her daughter, Wanda Ray of Ceres; and four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Bucher; and son, Bill Bucher.
