A graveside service was held Friday at Lakewood Memorial Park for Wanda Gayle Johnson, 75. She died Dec. 29, 2010 after a short illness.
The Pittsburg Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Born Nov. 29, 1935 in Purcell, Okla., Wanda was raised in Hughson, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Wayne. She worked in retail for 10 years and the banking industry for 15 years where she retired as branch manager and vice president of Central Bank.
She leaves behind her children, Julie and son Brad; her sister, Joyce Carlberg; her brothers, Garland Bratcher and Ray Bratcher; four grandchildren, Phillip Mutulo, Jennifer Johnson, Megan Johnson and Denay Johnson; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Wayne; parents Fairel and Eula Bratcher and brother Burnis Bratcher.
