The Ceres Dolphins brought home a third-place trophy from the 41st Annual Tracy Invitational, held May 29-30 in Manteca.

"That's the best we've finished since I've been here," said head coach Tracy Bull, who joined the recreational swim club in 2006. "The team performed exceptionally well."

The Dolphins had four High-Point trophy winners: Tyler Padilla (17-18 boys), Cassandra Guevara (15-16 girls), Jadyn Shinn (7-8 girls) and Jordan Shinn (6&under boys).

Four-year-old Maci Farinha, Ceres' youngest swimmer, took 30th in the 25 free in the 6&under girls division.

"That was the defining moment of the meet," Bull said. "It was awesome to see. She couldn't swim when the season started."
