The Ceres Dolphins recreational swim team experienced its share of success at the Mid Valley Swim League Championship on Saturday at Lathrop High School.
The Dolphins totaled 581 points en route to a fifth-place finish.
The Turlock Seadogs (1,145), Ripon Sea Lions (1,044), Manteca Dolphins (870) and Tracy Tritons (626) finished first, second, third and fourth, respectively.
Ceres topped the Modesto Blue Tide Aquatics-Summer Tide (112) and Oakdale Gators (98).
Zachary Jones (17-18 boys), Haley Fisicaro (17-18 girls), Julia Pata (13-14 girls) and Kadence Bispso (6&under girls) were overall High-Point trophy winners in their respective age groups.
Bispo, 6, broke a meet record in the 50 freestyle. The old record of 39.71 seconds was held by former Dolphin Jadyn Shinn. Kadence completed the event in 39.31 seconds. Bispo's older sister Carly is currently an alternate on the USA Swim Team at the World Championships.
"We had a really good meet," head coach Tracy Bull said. "Most of the kids dropped times, which is always gratifying."
