A Ceres man was arrested early Sunday morning for allegedly stabbing his estranged wife's boyfriend in the torso and neck outside La Huacana bar at Crows Landing Road and Glenn Avenue.

The attack on the 24-year-old victim occurred at approximately 2 a.m. Officials with the Modesto Police Department said that the attack occurred in the parking lot when the man and woman were approached by Raul Parra, 41, of Ceres, who has been estranged from his wife for about a year. Parra allegedly began stabbing the victim numerous times.

The wounds do not appear to be life threatening.
