When police stopped a car for a missing rear license plate on Mitchell Road north of Service Road early Friday, Dec. 6, both occupants were arrested, one for warrants and other for drug possession.
At 1:16 a.m., Sgt. Vincent Hooper stopped driver Whitney Logsdon, 29, of Ceres, who was found to have two Turlock Police warrants for her arrest. Her passenger, Scott Tackett, 28, of Turlock, was on probation and informed Sgt. Hooper that there were several syringes in the car with some uncapped. Sgt. Hooper found them and a glass smoking pipe with suspected methamphetamine residue.
Logsdon was arrested for the warrants while Tackett was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violations. Both were booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
