Drug arrest made on Lavon Lane

Ceres Police arrested a man on Lavon Lane last week on drug charges.

Police have adopted a "zero tolerance" crackdown of a Lavon Lane residence which has been generating a lot of suspicious activity, said Police Chief Brent Smith.

Twice in recent weeks police have been called to the house at 2233 Lavon Lane with reports of the resident on the roof with a weapon.

When Officer Carlos Quiroz came upon the house with an open garage he stopped and spoke to Robert Holtzclaw, 22, of Stockton, who was just released and exhibiting signs of being high on methamphetamine. Holtzclaw was charged with violation of parole and possession of methamphetamine.
