Ceres Police are searching for the vandalism suspects who are believed to have targeted a Ceres home because of Trump for President signs in his yard.

On Sunday morning at 9:14 a.m. Aaron Brittson reported someone had vandalized his truck and boat in the 3900 block of Bella Flora Drive. A neighbor's motion-triggered home security camera pinpointed the vandalism as occurring at 3:20 a.m. when the vandals poured brown paint on the hood of the truck and egged the vehicle and the boat. The vandals removed an American flag and a Donald Trump banner from a pole in front of their home.

Three males were seen running away from the scene.

Around the same time frame, the same suspected vandals targeted a home in the 3900 Block of Eau Claire Avenue a few blocks from the Bella Flora home. Brown paint was poured on the walkway, windows and outer walls of the residence. Six people were seen running from the Eau Claire home, which did not bear any political signs.

Anyone with information on the identity of the responsible is encouraged to contact the Ceres Police Department 538-5712. This incident is pending further investigation.
