Harpreet Singh, 30, of Ceres was pulled over late Friday after he violated the vehicle code in his Jeep Wrangler and appeared intoxicated with an open container of an alcoholic beverage.

During the 11:41 p.m. traffic stop in the area of Eastgate Boulevard and Helen Perry Road, Officer Kevin Sakasegawa arrested Singh after he failed a field sobriety test and blew twice the legal limit to drive a motor vehicle.
