Juveniles were responsible for a police pursuit that ended with a roll-over crash at Fourth Street and Whitmore Avenue on Wednesday, Dec. 27.

At 2:11 p.m. Ceres Police were notified that Sheriff's deputies were in pursuit of a white Honda but that the pursuit had been terminated as it exited the freeway at Whitmore Avenue. Within moments, police dispatchers had received calls about the roll over crash with the occupants running northbound on Fifth Street.

Officers were flagged down at 2120 Fifth Street for juveniles who ran east through the property and possibly hiding on the property. The group was found in the backyard at 2416 Thomas Avenue and arrested.

An additional suspect was later found at Fifth and Whitmore. All suspects involved were found to be juveniles and they were turned over to the Sheriff's Department to be arrested for various charges.
